May I take Communion?

Here at Ascension we welcome all Christians to Christ's table regardless of age or denominational affiliation. As a part of the whole Christian family, the Lutheran understanding of communion is that, as the gathered congregation, and through the elements of bread and wine, we experience the real presence of Christ among us. Communion is a sign of God's love, care, and constant concern for all people. It is a sign of mercy and forgiveness. It is a sign that we all belong together because we are sons and daughters of a loving God. Know that you are welcome to come forward as you are comfortable.

Is there child care available?

Yes! We offer supervised child care during all of our services in our nursery. Our Nursery Director, Melissa, will be happy to answer your questions and welcome your children. We do ask that, if your child has been sick, that you refrain from bringing them to the nursery until they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours.
