Children's Ministry Mission & Values

Child Targeted: Children come first. Our goal is to plan activities that are age- appropriate and engaging across developmental levels. 
 

Relevant Teaching: The goal of every lesson, example and activity is to be relevant to  today’ kids in today’s life.  
 

Teach the Bible with Creativity: The Bible remains the same for today, tomorrow and  forever, but the learning styles of our children does not. We strive to reach  children through their learning style. 
 

Safe Atmosphere: We work towards being a spiritually, emotionally and physically safe  place for all. 
 

Relational Context: We are a community of believers and we are in relationship with  each other on this faith journey. Our goal is to foster relationships across the  ages and generations where we learn from and with each other.

What's Happening!

        P.R.A.Y Award Classes:
              We are offering the opportunity for any child 1st through 5th grade to earn
              a religious award. These awards are recognized by both the Boy and Girls
              Scouts.
              Dates are: 3/7, 4/11 and 4/18, with awards given on 4/25.

       The Humane Society came to Visit!
                On February 28 visitors from our Humane Society in Medford were here for a
                visit. It was a wonderful day!

        Hot Pots!
                On March 14th the folks from Hot Pots will be coming with lots of fun
                pottery to paint. This year we are going with an Easter theme... so sign 
                up to paint some beautiful eggs and cute bunnies! 

                Look for the sign-up table and preregister! We need to guarantee them 50 
                pieces of pottery, so invite your friends and family .... it's for everyone!
