    Ascension's Fun Night:  Mark your calendars at 6 PM on July 16th for our 2nd fun filled night at Ascension! 
What's In the Bible?
We are going to gather the whole church together to watch the second of the great video series called "What's in the Bible?"  These were created by the same guy who made VeggieTales, so it's a safe bet that they are fun, memorable, and educational!  (And Pr. Amanda agrees!) 

All ages are welcome to come and join in! (Pajamas are just fine if you're worried about bed times.)  We will watch the first 30 minute video, then eat pizza, and watch another and will be done by 8 pm.  It's gonna' be fun and it won't be the same without you! 

Let Pr. Amanda or Susan know if you're coming so we can buy enough pizza.  See you there!

Children

Child Targeted: Children come first. Our goal is to plan activities that are age- appropriate and engaging across developmental levels. 

 Relevant Teaching: The goal of every lesson, example and activity is to be relevant to  today’ kids in today’s life.
 
 Teach the Bible with Creativity: The Bible remains the same for today, tomorrow and  forever, but the learning styles of our children does not. We strive to reach  children through their learning style.

Safe Atmosphere: We work towards being a spiritually, emotionally and physically safe  place for all. 

 

Relational Context: We are a community of believers and we are in relationship with  each other on this faith journey. Our goal is to foster relationships across the  ages and generations where we learn from and with each other.
