Welcome Inquirers!
We are so excited that you are interested in learning more about Ascension Lutheran Church.  We are striving to offer learning opportunities more often this year.  In fact, we have one coming soon!

We will be hosting our next Come & See on March 1, 2008.  This event is an opportunity to learn more about Ascension.  We share information about our programs, our mission, and how Ascension might serve you as well as opportunities for you to serve in the future.  All questions are welcomed and attending a Come & See event does not mean that you have to join.

After a Come & See event we generally leave a few weeks for folks to think about what they've learned and to follow up with any more questions they might have to help them make their decision about joining.  Our next New Member Sunday will be March 9, 2008 at both services.

If you would like to attend the event, please RSVP to the church office either by email or by calling 773-3594 by February 25, 2008.  Please let us know any dietary restrictions you might have, as we will be providing lunch.  If you would like child care during the event, please let us know and we will be happy to provide that for you!

Welcome Members!
Do you enjoy welcoming new members into the congregation?  Are you a people-person who loves to invite folks to church?  Do you like baking cookies and delivering them secretly on doorsteps?  Do you enjoy helping people make connections with one another?  If so -- this is the team for you!

The team works together to help visitors and new members feel welcome here at Ascension.  The focus in this ministry is the people; the new young families, the new retirees, the new grandparents, the new widow, the new person off the street!  Whoever walks in our doors is welcome and this team works together to make that known.  We also get to plan the exciting New Member classes, currently being revised.  If you want to be a part of this exciting ministry, we would love to have you on our team!
